Evelyn Ruck- Executive Director

 She has worked at Hiland for over 30 years and is a graduate from Indiana University of PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Education. Evelyn continues to be committed to helping Hiland maintain its status as one of the highest quality child care facilities in the North Hills and surrounding community.

Annie Miller- Program Director

She has worked at Hiland since October of 2012 in the Early Learner room and joined Evelyn in the office in October of 2014. Annie graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She enjoys her time very much with children and is dedicated to assuring that Hiland Child Care Center is a high quality center. 

Meet  Jennifer Churbock, Lena Liberto, Jordan Kelley and Kaitlin Pavlis

Jennifer-  has been at Hiland Child Care since July 2014. She has an Associates Degree from California University in Early Childhood Education. Jennifer is working in the Infant Room part time.  

 Lena-  has been at Hiland Child Care since 2007. She has worked in all of the rooms at Hiland and holds her CDA. Lena is our Admissions Coordinator who conducts all of our tours and wait list as well as a teacher in the Infant Room

.  

Jordan- started at Hiland in July 2024 working in the baby room full-time. She has loved watching the babies learn and grow and is learning much herself as an aide. Jordan has been a fantastic addition to Hiland Child Care.

Kaitlin- started working for Hiland in October 2024 but her son has attended Hiland for a few years. She comes with a passion working with children and finally in a field she enjoys. Kaitlin has made a great addition to our team.

Meet Elizabeth Nicodemus and Nicole Peirish

 Elizabeth- has been at Hiland since 2019 and has worked with children at her local church during VBS camps and Sunday School. She has a passion for helping and teaching children and loves the one year olds!    

 Nicole-   began working at Hiland Child Care in November 2016. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies. Nicole has worked as a Toddler Two Teacher and now holds the floater position to fill in for staff in all the classrooms!

Meet Kim Sola and Madison Locke

 Kim- has been at Hiland since January 2023 and has been wonderful working with the Toddlers. She comes with a lot of experience working with young children and enjoys her time with them.   

 Madison- has been at Hiland since July 2022 and has learned the infant room well. She graduated from North Hills High School and will be pursuing her education further while working at Hiland.  

Meet  Joelissa Pishko, Grace Kelley, and Nicole Peirish

Joelissa- began working at Hiland Child Care in June 2020. She had moved away from her old job as a Therapeutic Staff Support person and found our program. She comes to us with an Associates in Early Childhood Education as well as previous experience working in child care. Her extensive experience is a great addition to the Early Learner Room.

Grace- has worked at Hiland since August of 2023 in the Early Learner Room. Grace has been a great addition to the Early Learner classroom working with Joelissa to ensure the Early Learner children are having fun while they learn.

 Nicole-   began working at Hiland Child Care in November 2016. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies. Nicole has worked as a Toddler Two Teacher and now holds the floater position to fill in for staff in all the classrooms!

Meet Chrissy Locke

 Chrissy- has been at Hiland Child Care since May 2008. She has worked in all of the classrooms and currently works in the School Age room. Chrissy holds a CDA and has a passion about working in the Early Childhood field.
